Health and Safety Appointed Person Services

Legislation requires each employer to appoint one or more competent person to assist in health and safety management. Through our appointed person service we provide a resource to be called upon, as and when required, and to support companies by providing access to health and safety advice and support. By using this service Clients are entitled to designate us as a "competent person".

 

If you don’t have a full-time health and safety advisor but want access to sensible and practical health and safety advice throughout the year, our retained package could be just what you are looking for.

Our Appointed Safety Advisor service has been devised in response to the needs of our clients and provides ongoing support for those who do not employ a health and safety professional, or is used as a back-up by those employers who already have existing in-house expertise.

The basic Appointed Safety Advisor service package

 

• Each contract is for an initial period, usually twelve months, with invoices set quarterly across the year.

• Access to telephone advice and support during the life of the contract for no extra charge.

• The cost of the basic safety advisor service package includes an agreed number of days of our time each year, and can be expanded to cover as many days as you wish.

• Our details can be used on pre-qualification questionnaires, responses to health and safety questionnaires, and in tender documentation to demonstrate that suitable access to health and safety advice is in place.
