LEV / Local Exhaust Ventilation Testing

Local Exhaust Ventilation systems (LEV) require testing every 14 months under the current Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH).

First Environment undertakes thorough examination and test of LEV plant to ensure your company is meeting these requirements as laid out by Regulation 9 of COSHH and the HSG258 guidance notice.

Testing is undertaken by safety practitioners holding the BOHS, P901qualification and our services are independent of any installer or maintainer of LEV equipment providing our clients with a reliable unbiased assessment of the performance of installed LEV equipment.

Our occupational hygienists can undertake design review of existing and proposed installations and and provide practical advice to managers and users on minimising health risks from exposure to dust, fume, chemicals and vapours.
